Are we supposed to believe someone would rather spend his life on a deserted island with monsters & polar bears & black smoke than wheeling in America with family & friends & technology & food? If you are watching Lost then you know there is no shortage of mysteries. But as someone living with a spinal cord injury, I would have to say one of the biggest mysteries to me is why John Locke made the decision to remain on the island in the first place. I know that as the seasons went on we learned that he feels it is his mission in life to be the leader of this island, but as far as viewers and Locke himself were concerned in the first few seasons, the only advantage of that island was that he was miraculously cured of any injury to his spine.

Her incredibly beautiful voice, intensely deep and powerful, has been compared to Lauryn Hill's and Fantasia Barrino's. Throughout Miss Money's career, her fluid originals, gorgeous gospel moments, as well as her heartfelt rhythm and blues arrangements have expressed passion in a different manner. Maturely expressing love and relationships in her music, she prefers to write her compositions in order to be enjoyed by all.

In July of 1984, I was the “normal” 22-year-old female. I had a great job, nice car, and a nice place to live. I had and two great kids, whose ages were one and five. One day later, I was different and broken. On the Fourth of July, my then husband and I had been in Daytona, Florida enjoying the Pepsi 400. We'd traveled there each year from Alabama in order to vacation and see the races. My parents and grandparents always kept the kids during this time away. That year changed my life and that of those who knew me. On the return to Alabama on July 5th, the car ventured off the right side of the road during a heavy rain. I was thrown from the car and rolled down an embankment. The car landed on top of me. My husband crawled to me and placed a broken umbrella over my open mouth to stop me from drowning. I lay on my back with the rest of my body under the car. We still had milkmen in Alabama at that time, and a driver found us. Emergency personnel were soon on the scene, and my life changed forever. Having returned to his native Canadian soil, the first week of September was a busy one for the country's prized guitar-rock export, singer Bryan Adams. On Monday, September 1, it was "Bryan Adams Night" on "Canadian Idol." That afternoon, Adams dropped by "Idol's" television studios in Toronto, where he met and coached each of the Final Three contestants with their two best renditions of Adams' work. He taped a segment with each of the three finalists that was shown on Monday evening's show.
On Tuesday, September 2, Adams was the special guest, on a live "Idol." He performed two songs: "18 Till I Die" and his new single, "She's Got A Way," off of his eleventh studio album. The album, appropriately entitled "11," was released earlier this year and peaked at Number One on the Canadian music charts.
